Where do you see yourself?
The perspectives and experiences of BIPOC tech workers are at the foundation of the coalition. They lead the visioning of what our principles of equitable employment are.
Partner organizations* are those that are aligned with our principles of equitable employment. These principles will come from our Summit.
This is a multicultural* coalition of tech workers and employers who lead the operational development of the campaign. On it are tech workers and employers.
Our nonprofit, nonpolitical operations are fiscally sponsored for free by Techonómica, which is a registered 501(c)(3). 100% of your donation goes right to supporting the campaign.
Not a point where you can give time or treasure? That’s fine, we still want you on board. Share with us your name and email address to be sent (very) occasional updates. You also have the option of being counted among the campaign’s supporters. There’s power in numbers. Either way, we will share your contact information with no one.
The idea behind the separation of the visioning work from the logistical work of the Steering Committee is to remove the expectation that BIPOC leaders must always assume all of the operational, logistical, and emotional labor of justice work.
BIPOC leaders must have the choice to assume as much or as little of that work as they want. And they must have the choice to keep their level of involvement hidden from their employers.
We don’t have any yet. We want to be intentional about starting with workers before opening it up to organizations that represent workers. Not all orgs are a fit for us. And everything we do is intended to keep agency in the hands of workers.
